The Community Liaison serves as a liaison to prospective patients, families, and designated healthcare providers within the community setting. The Community Liaison also works to ensure favorable portrayal of the facility within the community setting. This position requires active involvement in program development and facilitates smooth patient referral/admission. The efforts of this position will work in tandem with the strategic business plan as well as the facility leadership team.

Receive and follow work schedule or instruction from the facility's Nursing Home Administrator.

Order marketing materials for the facility.

Travel to local hospitals to ensure wellbeing, and collect updates on facility bed hold patients.

Facilitate tours for individuals interested in facility placement.

Ensure a high level of resident satisfaction.

Develop and maintain a good working rapport with the facility staff.

Participate in the development and execution of facility sales and marketing plan.

Assist with sales and marketing events.

Attend and actively participate in facility sales and marketing calls and meetings.

Design and develop marketing and promotional materials for the facility.

Coordinate special events for the facility at the center and in the community.

Establish relationships and maintain contact with networking and community-based referral sources.

Recommend and implement initiatives that manage the target audience's perception of the facility.

Screen potential patients through on-site assessment as necessary.

Communicate to the facility's admission department and other pertinent staff all information necessary for admission.

Educate patients, families, and staff regarding the facility's record of providing quality care.

Promote effective public relations with patients, families, healthcare providers, and the community.

Exhibit professional behavior as a representative of the facility.

Must function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.

Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisor.
